Mindful Menus Wherever is a small, slick card holder that contains 10 different laminated nutritional cheat sheets for a variety of cuisines: Italian, Diner Food, Sushi, Mexican, Thai, Salads, Chinese, Starbucks, Happy Hour, and a general Ten Tips for Eating Wherever card.
These card are really useful in helping you figure out what to order and what to avoid. For example:
Italian: Appetizers aka bite-sized booby traps (wowza). Baked clams: 786 calories for 4. Fried calamari: 600 calories for 2 cups - nooo, say it ain't so! Instead, opt for a seafood marinara served over cooked spinach (substituted for pasta).
Starbucks: Tazo Chai Tea Latte: 230-290 calories for the Grande. Avoid extras like whipped cream (100 to 130 calories). Walnut Bran muffins, cinnamon chip scone, iced lemon loaf and apple fritter are around 500 calories each!
Mexican: Most quesdillas exceed 1000 calories. Instead, go for fajitas: 394 calories for 2 chicken fajitas.

Here's a tip: buy some magnetic strips and add it to the back of the case and stick it on your refrigerator. That way you can always find it!
