Curves Whole Grain Cereal
General Mills and Curves have partnered to launch a weight management brand under the Curves name. The products are 2 varieties of granola bars (loved the Curves Chocolate Peanut Chewy Granola Bar), as well as 2 cereal products, Honey Crunch and Whole Grain, which is the one being reviewed.
The Whole Grain Curves Cereal was very similar to cornflakes in looks and in taste. It was an improvement over traditional Kellogg's cornflakes because it is much crispier and it doesn't get soggy in milk too quickly. But I must admit that I find plain old cornflakes to be plain old boring, so while I thought this was ... okay ... I wasn't like ... wow!
One serving of Curves Whole Grain Cereal is 3/4 cup and has 100 calories (therefore, 134 calories in 1 cup), 0.5 grams of total fat, 2 grams of protein and 22 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 8% of the daily requirement of fiber (2 grams) and 4 grams of sugars.
One box of Curves Cereal retails for a little over $3.00 and the nutritional facts are definitely impressive. If you like cornflakes-type cereals, then you might like this, but I can think of a few other cereals which have similar nutrition but a little more in the taste department, like the first few on the Top 10 Low Calorie Breakfast Cereals Reviewed list.

I tried the Honey Crunch version and found it pretty tasty. A little reminiscent of Smart Start, but without the mini granola pieces.
The crunch was nice; the taste was average to below average. Won't waste my money on it.
