Campbells Chunky Healthy Request Classic Chicken Noodle Soup
Campbell's Chunky Healthy Request line of soups have 40% less sodium than their original product. Since the temperature dropped drastically overnight (what's up with the weather in Michigan), I took the opportunity to stock up on a few soups, like the Campbells Chunky Classic Chicken Noodle Soup. This came in a microwavble container - I love the ease and convenience.
As you can see from the picture of the soup after I microwaved it - there really are oodles of noodles and lots of veggies and meat in this. The soup was filling and the flavor was good, although I did notice that it isn't as salty as I'm used to (that's probably a good thing).
One container of Campbell's Chunky Healthy Request Classic Chicken Noodle Soup has 2 (8 ounce) servings. Each serving has 110 calories, 5% of the RDA for fat (3 grams) and saturated fat (1 gram), 20% of the RDA for sodium (one container has 40% - wowza), 7 grams of protein and 15 grams of total carbohydrates, which includes 2 grams of sugar and only 1 gram of fiber.
That's still a lot of sodium but I give them kudos for trying. This soup was expensive at $3.19 per container - convenience does not come cheap in the food world. I preferred this 1000% to Healthy Choice Old Fashioned Chicken Noodle Soup (read the review) which also comes in a microwavable container.

We have some un-opened cans of Campbell Chunky Vegetable Beef. They are dated June 2007. Are they still okay to use?
