Dannon Activia Light Yogurt

Dannon Activia Light YogurtDannon Activia Light is a fat free, reduced sugar version of the original Activia yogurt. I really liked the original version of Activia and this one is just as good. I tried the raspberry flavor which had a thick texture, was sweet and authentically raspberry - down to the little pitty seeds. Dannon Activia Light is sweetened with sucralose (Splenda), but it didn't have any of that "chemical off taste" that I experience with many of the other yogurts sweetened with Splenda.

One 4 ounce cup of Dannon Activia Light has 70 calories, no fat, 5 grams of protein and 13 grams of total carbohydrate, which includes 8 grams of sugar and 12% of the RDA for fiber. The original version had 110 calories and 17 grams of sugars per serving.

Both Dannon Activia Light and Dannon's Light 'n Fit with Fiber have 3 grams of fiber, but I prefer Activia Light because it tastes much better - even though they didn't market the fiber aspect of it. Activia also helps naturally regulate your digestive system, and they are so confident that they have a Two Week Money Back Challenge.

There are a few options out there with less calories, such as Yoplait Light which has 100 calories per 6 ounce serving, but I think Activia Light is a viable option and I would definitely buy it again - although it's a little more expensive than some of the other yogurts at almost $2.00 for a pack of 4.

I just barely tried the vanilla flavor of this yogurt today. I liked it a lot.

I usually just eat fat-free plain yogurt with berries, preferring that to pre-sweetened kinds. But this is a good (and easy) alternative.

I am trying to find a low fat activia with prunes. Is there such a yogourt? Up to now, I have only found the one with 3.3% fat. Thank you for your help.
