Curves Chocolate Peanut Chewy Granola Bar
I loved the flavor of this bar. It has a sweet chocolatey taste (they used real chocolate chips), and I could taste more peanuts than oats or rice crisp. - think a peanuty, chocolatey candy bar. Plus it has the perfect perfect texture - not too chewy, not too hard. It was so good that I thought it would have a ton of calories, but a closer look at the label reveals that it's 100 calories per bar. Granted, the bar is small at only 25 grams - anything shy of 40 grams just leaves me hungrier. In addition to 100 calories, the bar also has only 5% of the total daily requirement (3.5 grams) for fat, of which only 1 gram is saturated, 2 grams of protein, 5 grams of sugar and 5 grams of fiber which is 21% of the recommended daily amount. One box of 6 cost $2.77 which is very reasonable.
Although I still prefer natural bars to these highly processed bars (in Curves, you'll see the familiar high fructose corn syrup, but I didn't spy any partially hydrogenated culprits), but this bar is perfect if you have a sugar or chocolate craving. Comments

My daughter-who is 7 loved the strawberries one and was asking for them for her lunch. By the way, chocolate and peanuts go beautifully-like a reeses peanut butter cup!! |

hmmm, what other flavors does curves make? I have the strong believe peanuts and peanut butter are not meant to be sweet or mized with chocolate.
