Healthy Choice Chicken Basil Panini
Healthy Choice has finally upgraded their meals after trailing far behind Lean Cuisine, and is now producing Paninis. I decided to check out the Healthy Chicken Basil Panini. It has "diced white chicken, three cheeses, diced tomatoes, spinach and roasted onions with creamy basil sauce on Italian bread." I have to say that I was a little disappointed in the taste of this meal. It is ... okay - not fantastic, but not really terrible either. The flavors were a little bland, and the bread is not crispy enough.
The Healthy Choice Chicken Basil Panini has 310 calories, 8% of the RDA for total fat (5 grams) and saturated fat (1.5 grams), 25% of the RDA for sodium, 25 grams of protein and 41 grams of total carbohydrate, which includes 3 grams of sugar and 20% of the RDA for fiber (5 grams).
Healthy Choice is often on sale for between $2.50 - $3.00, but I wouldn't give up my Lean Cuisine Chicken Spinach and Mushrooms Panini for this.

I personally like the Healthy choice panini's better than the Lean Cuisine but I buy both that way I get more a selection and not eat the same thing every day.
I like the Lean Cuisine Paninis better also.. these aren't fantastic, but they're definitely ok. If they're on sale, especially. The apple chicken one is spicy.. haven't tried this one, though. My fav panini is the chicken club from Lean Cuisine.. yummers.
I have to say the only time I miss meat is when buying frozen dinners. Sad I know. THere are just so few veggie options with any protien. I didn't really like the HC vegetarian panini (but at least they have one), however, I used to love the LC chicken ones when I ate meat.
Thanks for all these review, so helpful
