Lean Cuisine Chicken alOrange
Okay, I butchered the name in the title. It's Lean Cuisine Chicken a'l'orange. This LC meal has chicken tenderloins in an orange glaze with wild rice and vegetables and it is goo-oo-ood! The chicken pieces are tender, the sauce is sweet and savory and goes well with the rice pilaf and vegetable medley, which includes carrots and broccoli.
Lean Cuisine Chicken a'l'orange is only 260 calories, 3 grams of total fat which is 5% of the recommended daily amount, 3% of the RDA for saturated fat, 580 mg of sodium (24% of the RDA), 18 grams of protein and 39 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 12 grams of sugar and 2 grams of fiber (8% of the RDA). And there's 50% of your vitamin A daily requirements.
Lean Cuisine goes on sale often and was $2.50 at the time of purchase. This is going on my list of top LC meals!

was it filling?
Dear Anonymous,
Lean Cuisine meals of the non-Dinnertime variety are almost never filling. Now, if they made them with plenty of whole grains, I'm sure it would be a different story.
