Weight Watchers Smart Ones Southwest Style Adobo Chicken
Weight Watchers Smart Ones Southwest Style Adobo Chicken consists of "tender white meat chicken in a sweet chili sauce and paired with a southwest style seasoned rice, bean and corn medley" according to the description on the box. All I can say is it tastes great - from the slightly sweet sauce to the rice and beans to the juicy tender chicken chunks. It comes out of the microwave looking exactly like it does on the box, and I suggest you mix everything together before digging in. This is really one of the best (if not the best) Weight Watchers meals that I have come across. As with most WW meals, you might want to pair it with a small side salad because it is not a very big portion.
There are 280 calories, 4.5 grams of saturated fat (7% of the recommended daily amount), 1 gram of saturated fat (4%), no trans fat, 28% of the RDA for cholesterol (670 mg), 19 grams of protein and 40 grams of total carbohydrate which includes 3 grams of sugars and 12% of the RDA for fiber (3 grams). This meal is also 5 Weight Watchers Points.
Weight Watchers meals were on sale this week at my local supermarket, so it cost $1.83, down from the regular price of $2.99. The sodium content is a little on the high side. I know frozen dinners generally have a lot of sodium, but I think they can keep it at 25% or below of the RDA. I loved the flavor of this meal, and would buy it again and again. 5 lips, 5 kisses and 2 thumbs up .
