Lean Cuisine Hunan Stir Fry features beef steak and whole grain rice with broccoli, red peppers and edamame in an Asian-style sauce. The meal is really tasty. The beef was tender and juicy - although I rarely eat beef, so I am probably not qualified to comment on it - and Abi from HeatEatReview didn't seem to like it [read their review]. Nevertheless, my taste buds were satisfied with it and there were vegetables a-plenty. The sauce is sweet and savory - not spicy like I expected a "Hunan" dish to be, but it went well with the whole grain rice. The sauce was by far my favorite thing about the Hunan Stir Fry, and the generous portion of veggies also makes this meal rank highly on my "buy-for-lunch" list.
One box of Lean Cuisine Hunan Stir Fry with Beef has 270 calories, 7 grams of total fat and 2 grams of saturated fat, which is 10% of the recommended daily amount (RDA), no trans fat, 25% of the RDA for sodium (610 mg), 15 grams of protein and 37 grams of total carbohydrates, which includes 12 grams of sugars and 8% of the RDA for fiber (2 grams). This meal is also 6 Weight Watchers points, and has 19% of the RDA for potassium, 30% vitamin C and 15% vitamin A.
I would definitely buy this again (if I liked beef), and Lean Cuisine meals can usually be found on sale for a reasonable price of $2.50 - $3.00 each.
