Jolly Time Healthy Pop Caramel Apple Popcorn
I really enjoy popcorn, but as you should know by now, popcorn is one of the best ways to get in saturated and trans fat - plus loads of calories, into your diet. My favorite way of reducing the calories, is to buy the fat free ones and add a little of my own microwave melted margarine and salt if necessary. I have also never been a big fan of the 'sweet' popcorns, like caramel etc., because in my mind, popcorn is supposed to be salty. But on the recommendation of a friend, I tried Jolly Time Healthy Pop Caramel Apple 94% Fat Free Popcorn and was pretty glad I did.
The taste is not overwhelmingly sweet at all - more like a light caramel flavored popcorn. This might be disappointing to some, but really, you know the sweeter it is, the more calories. It wasn't the best tasting popcorn I have ever had, but I do think it is the best tasting lower calorie /fat one that I have had to date.
The Healthy Pop Caramel Apple Microwave Pop Corn has only 240 calories for the entire bag, 2 grams of fat (3% of the recommended daily amount), no saturated or trans fat, 11% of the RDA for sodium (260 mg), 4 grams of protein and 23 grams of total carbohydrates, which includes 27% of the RDA for fiber and less than 1 grams of sugar. Compare this to Orville Redenbacher Movie Theater Butter Popcorn Light which has 300 calories [read the review].
This popcorn is sweetened with Splenda brand sweetener and a box with 3 packs was $2.39. I liked it and would buy it again. As an option to eating the whole bag, try adding a cup to your lunch bag as a snack by itself ar an post-lunch treat.

Are you sure it was only 100 calories for the entire bag? They usually say 100 calorie mini bags on the package (unless you grabbed a different item photo?). I've been eating Healthy Pop for a bit now and have never seen Caramel Apple in 100 calorie mini bags. I hope it's a news item you found!
Sera is right...a serving size is 100 calories, but the bag has 2.5 servings...so the total bag is 250 calories.
My bad: for some reason I read 2 servings per bag when it was 12 (20 calories per serving).
