Stonyfield Farm Fat Free Chocolate Underground Yogurt
I wasn't sure why they called this yogurt chocolate "underground" but after opening the container, I had a reason for it - whether it's their reasoning or not. Check out the "before and after stirring" pictures below. It seems like the chocolate is on the bottom of the container, much like the fruit-on-the-bottom yogurts.
I wouldn't have really cared except that the color of the yogurt before mixing is a horrendous looking beige /cream / off-white looking mess - and it still didn't look much better after mixing. I really had to put some work into it in order to get a semi dark chocolate color. But, many things that don't look particularly appetizing usually turn out to be incredibly delicious. Not so in this case. This yogurt just tasted ... off. It is slightly tart but also has a sweet chocolate taste, and those two opposing flavors just didn't work together. One 6 ounce container of Stonyfield Farm Fat Free Chocolate Underground Yogurt has 170 calories, no fat, 4% of the recommended daily amount of sodium (100 mg), 6 grams of protein and 37 grams of total carbohydrates, which includes 12% of the RDA for fiber (3 grams) and 34 grams of sugars. That is way too much sugar for one cup of yogurt - and way too many calories - but thanks for the added fiber Stonyfield. The 6 ounce container retails for $0.89 when purchased from Whole Foods. I can't see myself buying this flavor of yogurt again - because of the taste, too many calories and too much sugar. Comments

Try the low-fat vanilla, it's amazing. It's also rarely in stock at my grocery store because people always buy it. FatFree isn't the same and CreamTop is too fattening, but lowfat is perfect.

Tanya,
I recently tried their Cafe Mocha Yogurt and had similar results. I did not consider stiring the yogurt though(never needed to do this with non organic yogurts). Have you tried other yogurts from Stonyfield Farms? I am currently trying to find a organic yogurt that tastes as good as the nonorganic yogurts. Thanks.
