Odwalla PomaGrand Pomegranate Mango Juice
Ah-mazing! Another great tasting beverage from Odwalla. PomaGrand Pomegranate Mango is a blend of pomegranate juice (from concentrate), mango, apple juice and 'wild berry extract' which includes a blend of chokeberry, elderberry, blueberry and blackcurrant. The result is great. There is a strong taste of mango, perhaps overpowering some of the other flavors, but the pomegranate /berry-ish flavor comes out too. The juice is thick and sweet and I loved it. Some people might (have the audacity) to say that Odwalla might have gone a bit overboard with the intense mango vibe, but I'm from the tropics so I'm definitely a fan of it.
One bottle of Odwalla PomaGrand Pomegranate Mango Juice is 450 mL (15.2 fluid ounces) and has 2 servings. One serving is 160 calories, 12% of the recommended amount of potassium and 39 grams of total carbohydrates, which includes 29 grams of sugars. So drink the entire bottle, and you are getting 304 calories and 55 grams of sugars - which is about 13 teaspoons. There is not much in the way of vitamins or minerals either.
In terms of taste, this is a great tasting beverage BUT one 15 ounce bottle is $3.99. It may be rich with antioxidants, but I wouldn't know how much is in it since it is not on the label. I don't think I would spend $4.00 on one bottle of this, so hopefully it is cheaper at other stores. The Odwalla Berries GoMega Juice was also awesome and highly recommended. And just in case you want to know more about mangoes - and how to cut and eat them - read our review [link].
