Lean Cuisine Sesame Stir Fry with Chicken

Lean Cuisine Sesame Stir Fry with ChickenLean Cuisine Sesame Stir Fry with Chicken has 2 times more veggies than the average Lean Cuisine meal. Feast on "edamame and broccoli with 'white meat chicken' and whole wheat vermicelli in a sesame sauce." This meal is straight up delicious yummy When I first took the tray out of the box, I had serious doubts that this would be tasty and be filling. It's not much to look at - just some frozen vegetables and chunks of chicken, so I had no clue that this industrial looking tray of food would be transformed into the delicious tasting meal that it turned out to be.

Vermicelli is one of my favorite types of pasta, so I was happy to see a frozen dinner that uses this instead of the traditional pasta noodles. The sesame sauce that comes with this meal is sweet and an excellent addition (be sure to mix everything together to get the sauce spread throughout). And there is an abundance of vegetables as well. The broccoli remained crisp, there was plenty edamame, plus some carrots and red peppers. I found the meal filling enough for lunch and I think it might do the trick for dinner if you have a snack a little later on - I had a stick of CocoaVia Chocolate Blueberry Bar left over from the review [link].

One box of Lean Cuisine Sesame Stir Fry with Chicken is 300 calories, 6 grams of total fat which is 9% of the recommended daily amount (RDA), only 1 gram of saturated fat and no trans fat, 13% of the RDA for cholesterol (40 mg), 28% of the recommended daily amount of sodium (680 mg - yikes), 20 grams of protein and 41 grams of total carbohydrates, which includes 5 grams of fiber (20% of the RDA) and 14 grams of sugars. This meal is also 6 Weight Watchers Points and you also get 70% of your vitamin A requirements, 30% vitamin C and 10% iron.

I wish the sodium content wasn't so high, but overall I'm extremely pleased with this meal and I will be buying it again and again. Lean Cuisine can often be found on sale for around $2.50. I'm giving this 5 kisses and 2 thumbs up but watch your sodium intake.

I also loved this meal! I just wish I would have bought more of them when my store had them on sale for $1.75!!!

Lean Cusine makes some good meals. I have this in my freezer, though I'm still more partial to the Chicken in Basil Sauce. :)

I agree, this is yummy! I like everything spicy, so I sprinkled some crushed red pepper on mine too. I stock up when they are on sale.
