Lakewood Organic Pomegranate with Blueberry Juice
But as many positives as I have just listed, notice that taste is not one of them. While it tastes - okay - it is simply sweet without any other characteristic flavor. There is none of the tartness from the pomegranate. Lakewood Organic Heart Healthy Pomegranate with Cranberry is one of my favorite pomegranate juices [read the review], but unfortunately the mixture of pomegranate with blueberry just doesn't live up to it's cranberry cousin. One bottle of Lakewood Organic Pomegranate with Blueberry is 12.5 ounces and is considered 2 servings. One serving is 6 ounces. We usually see an 8 ounce serving size, and this 'math' seems suspicious to me. Lakewood, you lose points for trying to confuse us with your "fuzzy math." Anyway, one serving' is 100 calories, 21 grams of sugar and 4% of the recommended daily amount of fiber (1 gram). There is also a small amount (less than 5% on average) of a few vitamins and minerals. (So one bottle is actually 208 calories and 44 grams of sugar). I prefer the taste of the Lakewood Organic Heart Healthy Pomegranate with Cranberry [read the review]'">read the review], so the $2.50 per bottle would be spent on that variety instead of this one - and it's 10 calories less. AND cranberries have more antioxidants than blueberries. Comments
