Dannon All Natural Yogurt
Dannon is one of the biggest players in the yogurt business and we have reviewed a lot of their products including Activia, Carb Control
, Fruit Blend Low Fat, Light n Fit, Light 'n Fit with Fiber and Light and Fit Crave Control. The latest Dannon yogurt to come across my path is All Natural No Artificial Anything Yogurt. I just love the concept. Nothing artificial - no sweeteners, no chemical additives, and yet this is only 110 calories for the 4 ounce container.
I tried the Blueberry variety and quite liked the taste, although I must say that there was not a very strong blueberry flavor - but I am probably used to artificial flavors added to products - but this still has a smooth, creamy, rich, yummy taste. It was maybe a bit too sweet for my tastes and I thought here Dannon could have reduced the sugar (which may lead to reduced calories too - and that's always a good thing). The blueberries are also few and far between - I am just going to assume that some got blended into the yogurt because it does have a very vibrant purple color to it (if that's not the case, then I would have liked to have a few more of the actual fruit in this).
But what is also great is that without the artificial sweeteners or anything else, they were still conscious about making a wholesome product without too much fat. The yogurt is 99% fat free, with only 1 gram of total fat and 110 calories. One area they could definitely improve upon is the 19 grams of sugars, since it is added sugar (and not from the blueberries) - and the yogurt is too sweet anyway.
There is also 5 grams of protein and 15% of your daily requirement of calcium in the Dannon All Natural Yogurt. The "all natural" ingredients are cultured grade A low fat milk, sugar, blueberries, water, less than 1% corn starch, natural flavor, pectin, locust bean gum, lemon juice concentrate and active yogurt cultures including L. acidophilus.
One pack of 4 x 4 ounce containers was on sale for $1.50 at Meijers when I bought it. I think I would get this yogurt again - I try to go a couple of weeks without artificial sweeteners in my diet.

I'm still a bigger fan of Stoney Farms. I just think they have the best tasting yorgurt around - and its organic too!
I love Dannon's All Natural Yogurt especially the Cherry, Strawberry, and Peach. Have you ever considered making a variety pack with Cherry, Strawberry, Peach, and Blueberry?

I found this yogurt yesterday and finished almost an entire 4 pack before I headed home from work. I'm not dieting but I love yogurt. The problem I have found with most is the artificial sweeteners. I hate the flavor they give off.. I dont' drink diet drinks or chew sugar free gum because of the sweetner flavor. this is the ONLY yogurt I have found in my stores that have no artificial sweeteners... So far I've only found strawberry and blue berry but I love both.
I like the acyiva better. They are coming up with some good varieties though.
What a scam! This yogurt is NOT all natural. They dont use organic milk. They use regular farm milk which has high levels of rbst in it! Doesnt this make the product ARTIFICIAL? RBST is man made and genetically engineered for that purpose...sounds pretty artificial to me.
WHAT ABOUT THE ASPERTAME IN "LIGHT & FIT". TOTALLY TOLD TO STOP USING ARTIFICIAL SWEETNERS BY CANCER ARTICLES. WHY IS
DANNON STILL USING?
HAVE SWITCHED FROM SPENDA TO STEVIA, CAN THAT BE USED AS A SWEETNER?
Dannon Natural Yogurt is an outstanding product. I have purchased it since its introduction. Now, it has been removed from my grocer's shelves. I have even tried other markets without success. I would like my yogurt back. Please explain its absence. Thank you.
Target Store in Indianapolis, In.carried Dannon (All NaturYogurt) for several weeka but do not now.
