Sweet Nothings Dairy Free Fudge Bar

Those of us who can't (or don't want to) eat dairy products are at last getting some pretty good alternatives. Sweet Nothings Fudge Bar is not only dairy free, but it is also "all natural, fat free, soy-free and fruit sweetened." That's all good but I hear you asking about the taste!

The Sweet Nothings Fudge Bar has the dark brown color of chocolate all the way through, and it is creamy but not quite as sweet as a regular "dairy" fudge bar. Actually - I have no idea why they refer to this as a fudge bar, because there is not even a hint of fudge taste in this, BUT it does have a chocolatey taste and overall - I love, LOVE this. Some of you might like things syrupy sweet - so this may not be for you, but I quite like the fact that there is some sweetness, but it is not overpowering. Let's face it - nothing is ever going to quite be the same as regular, creamy milky fudge bars, but I think this is a suitable alternative.

Each fudge bar has 100 calories, no fat or cholesterol, 1 gram of protein and 23 grams of total carbohydrates which includes only 12 grams of sugars. I bought a single bar for $0.99 at Whole Foods.

I am all over this again when summer rolls around.
