Izze Sparkling Pomegranate

Izze Sparkling Pomegranate is a flavored blend of concentrated fruit juice and sparkling water. I love, LOVE this drink 
. This is the best carbonated-like beverage that I have tried AND one of the best tasting pomegrante drinks on the market. It reminds me of soda/cola, both in terms of the fizzy taste and the soda-like bottle packaging, but don't expect the traditional syrupy sweet taste of most colas. The first thing I noticed when I took a sip was a tart, clean, crisp flavor and the fact that it was not particularly sweet. By the time I finished the bottle, I was convinced that I would buy this over any other soda - and I would pay extra for it too!
Izze Pomegranate is 70% juice from concentrate, which includes apple, grape, pineapple, lemon, pomegranate, cranberry, and acerola (a West Indian cherry) and 30% sparkling water. Notice that although this is a "pomegranate" drink - it is the 5th in terms of amount of juice included (marketing at it's finest?). I thought the pomegranate flavor could definitely be detected out of the other flavors though and I am not even going to be mad about there not being more since they went to all the trouble not to have added sugar, no artificial colors/sweeteners, and no caffeine.
Remember fruit juice has sugars, so one 8 ounce serving is 80 calories and 17 grams of sugars. The bottle is 12 ounces with 120 calories and 33 grams of sugars. Now, despite all the hype out there, our bodies treat sugars the same regardless of the source i.e. natural or added. Therefore we still should monitor our sugar intake so we don't take in too much.
Izze will definitely be replacing regular colas for me, despite the almost $2.00 per bottle price tag. The taste is so much better that I think it's worth the extra cost (occasionally).

Izze sodas are awesome. They are a perfect indulgence on early spring days.
Try Dry Soda if you can find it - it's even less sugar (16 grams) and 50-70 cal. per 12 oz. Delightful substitution for the 160 cal. of regular pop. We found ours at Whole Foods.

Have you ever tried the brand of Sparkling Juice they sell at Ikea? It is called Kristian Regale, and its pretty delicious. I personally find Izzie to be too sugary tasting.
this drink is named after my hubby his name is izzy kinda the same and sounds the same!!!. he drank it and he liked it i did not like it but i do not like juice so yea but he liked it!!!.
