Fuze Healthy Infuzions White Tea

Fuze White TeaGreen tea, white tea, hot tea, iced tea - I like them all! Thanks to all these tea beverages, I have cut way down on my soda consumption. I like drinking water, but sometimes you just need a little flavor - a little extra something in the taste! I came across Fuze Healthy Infuzions Orange Blossom White Tea while I was looking for Fuze Slenderize Tropical Punch [read the review]. The Slenderize line of Fuze is their 'diet' line - meaning they use artificial sweeteners, but the 'regular' Fuze uses the natural stuff.

Fuze "Orange Blossom" White Tea is a fancy name and it comes with a fancy, eye catching label on the bottle. The taste though is just okay. It is like regular sweet iced tea with a little orange flavoring. I expect 'white tea' to have a lighter flavor than regular tea (although this may not truly be the case, but it is what I have gotten used to). Also, the ingredients list says they use 'orange ginger' flavor. I think it would have been more interesting if I could actually taste a hint of ginger in it. Recently, I started adding ginger (juice) in small amounts to different drinks and it adds a lovely zesty flavor.

One bottle of Fuze White Tea has about 2 servings with 60 calories and 15 grams of sugars per serving. So the entire bottle is 135 calories and 34 grams of sugars, which is about 8 teaspoons. Each serving also has 100% of the daily requirement of vitamin C, 50% of the B vitamins and 25% folic acid. I noticed the folic acid in other Fuze drinks too, which is great. Folic acid helps in the prevention of neural tube birth defects in babies. The label also says "contains equal antioxidant capacity as 3 servings of vegetables" which sounds like a good thing to me - although it would have been even better if they put the actual amount of antioxidants on the bottle, like Snapple White Tea did [link].

One 18 ounce bottle costs $1.00 and I would definitely buy this again, but I prefer the lighter taste of Snapple White Tea, which also doesn't use artificial sweeteners but just a little less calories and grams of sugar.

I also found that if one drinks 6-10 bottles of Fuze White Tea a day, starting the first day one is comming down with flu or cold, the sickness would last 2-3 days and will not manifest all the symptoms. I think it has to do with vitamin B complex, but I don't really know, it just works for me.
