Arizona Pomegranate Green Tea
The Pomegranate Green tea is not a 'diet' drink so they are no artificial sweeteners in it. Instead they use a combination of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and honey - 18 grams of sugars per 8 ounce servings and the bottles are either 16 or 20 ounce, which means there are 36 or 45 grams of sugar per bottle. That's a lot - like 10 teaspoons of sugar! There is also 70 calories per serving - which means 140 to 175 calories per bottle. The 20 ounce bottle of Arizona Pomegranate Green Tea cost $0.99 when I bought it at a local convenience store. Although I love the taste, I am not happy about the amount of sugar in it. Arizona also makes one of my favorite zero calorie beverages (now that I have weaned myself off sodas), Arizona Diet Green Tea with Ginseng, which was out before everybody (okay Nestea and Lipton) jumped on the green tea bandwagon. I'm so bummed out about the amount of HFCS in this drink. You think you're doing something good for your body, but guess what! You're not. And real pomegranite juice costs a fortune. *sigh*
