Amys Baked Ziti Bowl
A bowl of Amy's Baked Ziti has 390 calories, 12 grams of fat which is 18% of the daily value, but only 2 grams (10%) is from saturated fat. There is also 25% of the recommended daily amount of sodium (590 mg), 9 grams of protein and 62 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 5 grams of fiber (20% of the RDA) and 8 grams of sugars. You ca also get 40% of your daily requirement for vitamin C, 20% vitamin A, 15% iron and 10% calcium. This is something I would definitely eat for lunch, time and time again. It was also very filling. There is quite a bit of sodium, so if that's a concern for you, watch your intake throughout the day and remember this gives 1/4 of the RDA. I'm not sure how much this costs in the store, because it was sent to us, but if it's similar to other Amy's products it's probably around $4.00. Comments

Julie said: I am not a big fan of ziti, particularly veg ones I've had in the past. This looks pretty good, though.

Shae said: I love ziti... but it's been a long time since I've eaten ziti with cheese. I couldn't believe that this was vegan, so I even checked Amy's website... because a lot of her other "soy cheese" products have casein. Now I'm really excited!

I would definitely try these last two Italian dishes, as I don't like mushrooms or sweet peppers, as the Oreintal dishes had. I bet I could find them in another store in the Big(ger) Town 20 miles away, and I will look next time I am there. My choices are really limited in a town with only one grocery store. (I keep checking for that frozen yogurt/sorbet item. Grrrrr.)
