Snapple White Tea
The commercials for Snapple White Tea are all over the television stations in the U.S. and definitely influenced me to buy it as soon as I saw it on the supermarket shelves. If you haven't seen the ads yet, then check it out at the Snapple website [link]. Snapple White Tea is made from ... you guessed it ... young white tea leaves, which makes it a cold iced tea drink. I tried the green apple flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The apple flavoring overshadowed the tea taste which was almost non existent, but that was okay with me because the apple taste was quite pleasant. The entire tea drink had a crisp, light, refreshing taste - and no artificial sweeteners, so no potently sweet aftertaste. Marvo from The Impulsive Buy has a really funny review of Snapple White Tea [link] and he liked them too.
"Is this stuff healthy?" I hear you asking. Well, it certainly is better for you than LOTS of other drinks. I like the fact that they put the amount of antioxidants in each bottle on the label - 105 mg. There is no 'official' word on how much antioxidants are necessary in the daily diet to have beneficial effects - and it's probably a lot more than 105 mg, but every little bit helps. One bottle of snapple (17.5 ounces) had 120 calories, 30 grams of sugars and 20% of vitamin C. There is no high fructose corn syrup, but I would have liked there to be a little less sugar.
Two of my favorite iced tea beverages are Arizona Diet Green Tea with Ginseng and Diet Lipton Green Tea with Citrus. Both of them have less calories than Snapple White Tea and are cheaper. I bought the 17.5 fl. ounce bottle of Snapple White Tea for $1.59 at Stop and Shop (owners of PeaPod.com), but unlike the other two, Snapple White Tea doesn't have artificial sweeteners, nor does it have HFCS, which makes me include it in my favorites.

This white tea beverage has no life left in it. It's better, I think to make your own white tea from loose leaves. I get mine from www.kasora.com Storefront or sometimes from the chinese market near my house. Seriously though, if you want real white tea in a bottle, brew it yourself, put it in a bottle, and stick it in the fridge! I do like the commercial that's on TV for this product though, it's pretty funny.
Snapple Green Apple White Tea is one of the best teas I've tasted. It's not too sweet or tart. And it's low in sodium and calories...perfect combination. I only wish that it was more available in the Tulsa area. We've been placing special orders weekly. I definitely share it with my friends. Perhaps one day, this tasty Snapple drink will be found on all store shelves :)

Hi
B Frost, I'm from Oklahoma City. There is only one place I know of to get this stuff, but I can't buy it in bulk. Where do you place these special orders from?
