Brazil Gourmet Mango Nectar
I can think of so many used for this mango nectar - other than drinking it! It would provide a nice flavor for chicken - yes, mango chicken! My easy recipe: mix the mango nectar with store bought sweet and sour sauce. Season the chicken with a little soy sauce, salt and black pepper. Add the sweet and sour mango mix up nd a little hot sauce (or hot peppers), marinate for a little while (i.e. just allow it to sit so the chicken takes on the mango flavor) and then bake! When it's almost done, add a few pineapple chunks and green peppers One 10 ounce bottle of Brazil Gourmet Mango Nectar has 162 calories, no fat, 34 grams of sugars and 95% of the daily value of vitamin C. I know - you're going to say too much sugar! And it is - there's not only too much sugar, but the mango juice is a bit too sweet too. But I cut down on the calories /sugar by not drinking the entire bottle and incorporating this into other drinks and foods where I just wanted some mango flavor. This is something I would definitely buy again. And thanks to Brazil Gourmet for making /importing something with "real" juice. I'm not sure how much this cost, since my aunt was kind enough to give it to me to try - but I'm hoping it's not too expensive. Comments
