Tombstone Light Veggie Pizza
Tombstone Veggie Pizza actually has dairy ingredients, in the form of the shredded mozarella cheese made from skim milk, so it's technically not "vegan." But there are no meat toppings, and instead, you will find broccoli, red bell peppers, green onions, black olives and mushrooms. This pizza tastes pretty good, but is a bit bland. I wish they would add some kind of spicy sauce, or salsa, or something else to kick up the flavor a notch.
One serving is 1/5th of a pizza, and the pizza is a big 12 incher. But 1/5th? I think 1/4th is more likely what most people will eat (or maybe 1/2). But 1/5th of the pizza has 230 calories, 6 grams of total fat and 2 grams of saturated fat, which amount to about 10% of the daily value. There's also 510 mg of sodium, which is 21% of the daily value, 4 grams of fiber and 13 grams of protein. You can also get 20% calcium and 15% of your vitamin A daily requirements.
One pizza costs about $3.50, which is about the same as the smaller South Beach Diet Grilled Chicken and Vegetable Harvest Wheat Crust Pizza, which actually has more fat, more sodium and more calories (assuming you only eat at most, 1/4 of the Tombstone pizza).
I don't know about you, but I ate 1/4th of the pizza, which actually works out to about 290 calories and 7 grams of fat. The nutrition is better than that of a lot of other frozen pizzas, and definitely better than any fast food you could eat, so I'm giving this the thumbs up - but only one thumb, because there is too much sodium ![]()

This looks pretty good, but I would eat a lot more than 1/5 of a pizza.
It would be helpful if you would also give the carb count for a product like this for people who would like that information. Thanks.
I am going to try and start doing that. Thanks Kalyn.
