Lean Cuisine Sesame Chicken
There are 340 calories in this meal, along with 9 grams of fat (14% of the recommended daily allowance), 1.5 grams of saturated fat, 650 mg of sodium, which is 27% of the RDA, 15 grams of sugars (49 grams total carbs) and 15 grams of protein . Nutritionally, it could be a bit better in terms of sodium and sugars. I hate the fact that I'm adding to my sugar intake by not even eating something sweet (or drinking soda)! I wouldn't say this is one of my favorite Lean Cuisine meals, but it's good enough that it was worth the sale price of $2.50. Comments

Kathleen said: This too is my favorite LC (I also really like the round personal pizzas). I love the sesame chicken, which is moist and tasty, and the sauce. I happen to like the fact that it is served with pasta, and I like mixing the pasta in with the tangy sauce. If I could find a similar enough recipe, I would go to the trouble of making this myself. I hope LC continues to carry this. I do wish the sodium and sugar were less, but overall, I feel pretty satisfied when I have this for lunch on occasion that I'm eating fairly healthy. |
