This week it is all about Ice cream, after all
July is National Ice cream Month. Check out all our
Reviews of Ice cream of the low fat variety of course.
Try a flavor you haven't tried before.
There are 340 calories in this meal, along with 9 grams of fat (14% of the recommended daily allowance), 1.5 grams of saturated fat, 650 mg of sodium, which is 27% of the RDA, 15 grams of sugars (49 grams total carbs) and 15 grams of protein . Nutritionally, it could be a bit better in terms of sodium and sugars. I hate the fact that I'm adding to my sugar intake by not even eating something sweet (or drinking soda)! I wouldn't say this is one of my favorite Lean Cuisine meals, but it's good enough that it was worth the sale price of $2.50. Taste:

Kathleen said: This too is my favorite LC (I also really like the round personal pizzas). I love the sesame chicken, which is moist and tasty, and the sauce. I happen to like the fact that it is served with pasta, and I like mixing the pasta in with the tangy sauce. If I could find a similar enough recipe, I would go to the trouble of making this myself. I hope LC continues to carry this. I do wish the sodium and sugar were less, but overall, I feel pretty satisfied when I have this for lunch on occasion that I'm eating fairly healthy. |
