Chik-fil-A Southwest Chargrilled Chicken Salad

I have enjoyed the char grilled chicken salad from Chik-fil-A for quite sometime now. The salad has "slices of spicy grilled chicken breast on a fresh blend of Romaine and Iceberg lettuce, with shredded red (purple) cabbage and carrots, vine-ripened grape tomatoes, a roasted corn and black bean relish and a subtle blend of Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses." What I love the most is that the chicken is slightly spicy, and provides a nice contrast the taste of the veggies. I also enjoy the corn and black bean relish, which I wish there could be more of. This salad is also quite a big portion, which I found quite filling for lunch.

There are 240 calories in Chik-fil-A's Southwest Chargrilled chicken salad, along with 8 grams of fat (12% of the recommended daily amount), 3.5 grams of saturated fat (18% of the RDA), 60 mg of cholesterol (20% of the daily value), 770 mg of sodium, (32% of the RDA), 5 grams of fiber, and 25 grams of protein. There is also the added bonus of 70% vitamin A, 40% vitamin C, and 20% calcium.

Chik-fil-A Southwest Chargrilled Chicken Salad is one of my favorite things to eat when I'm in a rush and fast food is my only option. It costs about $4.45, which is similar to the cost of most other fast food salads.
