Yoplait Yogurt and Cereal Bars
The cereal outer layer tasted like cold cornflakes. It's not that it had a disgusting taste, it just felt wrong to be crunching on cornflakes while I was eating a frozen dessert. It might have been better if the cereal had been chocolate flavored, and perhaps not tasted so much like cornflakes - maybe Cocoa Puffs instead? The yogurt middle layer - which is low fat - really didn't have much flavor to it, even though it should have been strawberry. It also could have been a little sweeter in my opinion, and I also considered it to be too thick. But, maybe if it tasted better, I wouldn't complain about how much of it there was. I sure wasn't complaining when I reviewed Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches yesterday, and they were about the same thickness. Yoplait Yogurt and Cereal Bars comes in a box containing 4 bars, which was priced at $2.97. One bar has 120 calories, 1.5 grams of fat, 1 gram saturated fat, 14 grams of sugar and 4 grams of protein. The cereal bars also have 15 vitamins and minerals, ranging from 10-20%, and 45% for calcium. So nutritionally, the Yoplait yogurt cereal bars are not that bad, but if you're craving something sweet, you might pass on this one. I might have preferred the frozen yogurt bar without the cereal coating, which would actually save a few calories too. Or how about some yogurt Italian ice, similar to Luigis. Comments

Shelly said: The review above forgets that these yogurts aren't a treat!People who want chocolate on these bars need to just eat a Hershey or Reese. There for a nutritional breakfast. I love Triple Berry. The yogurt bars are for people who want a healthy breakfast. I absolutely love them and my stomach feels better from eating them too. When you eat healthy your body no longer craves junk. |

I definitly want to try these. They look delicious. It sounds like such a weird combination though! Cereal and Frozen Yogurt? Odd.
