Edys Slow Churned Rocky Road Light Ice Cream
But, I must stop, because one serving of Edy's Slow Churned Rocky Road Light Ice Creamis only half a cup (which isn't that much) is 120 calories - and this is 1/3 fewer calories than regular ice cream, according to the packaging. Now, 120 calories is not that bad, but heck - I can't eat less than 1 cup of ice cream - so that's 240 calories - and if some of you are really honest - an entire bowl of ice cream might really have 2-3 cups! There's also 4 grams of fat, 2 grams of saturated fat, 12 grams of sugars and 3 grams of proteins [and 6% of vitamin A and calcium]. And Edy's uses all natural flavors. So really, eating 1/2 cup as a treat for yourself won't do major damage to your diet, and if you're craving some ice cream, then this is an excellent choice! Quick Food Fact: Lite or light can mean one-third fewer calories or half the fat of the referenced food; or the sodium content of an already low-fat, low-calorie food has been reduced by 50 percent; or the food is lighter in color or texture (as long as there is information on the label qualifying what light means).

Amanda said: You are SO right! I go on kicks where I crave the same thing over and over again for weeks, and for the last couple of MONTHS it has been Rocky Road ice cream! At first I would eat the Haagen-Daaz or Baskin Robbins, but when I realized I wanted it all the time, I switched to Healthy Choice. After trying that, I decided to try the Edy's...and it is so much better! I don't feel like I'm sacrificing any of the taste or creaminess from even the MOST fattening one (H-D is 300 calories in half a cup!). Thank you Edy's!!

Yumm-O. I have tried this before. It is so yummy. Problem is, I probably had 3 or 4x the serving size. It's so addicting!
