Coca Cola Blak

Coca Cola Blak Coca Cola Blak is a carbonated fusion beverage, according to the packaging. It's actually a fusion of coffee and soda - actually, it's probably a fusion of coffee and diet coke, since there is aspartame and acesulfame-K, which are the artificial sweeteners used in diet coke. There's definitely a strong sweet coffe aroma to the beverage - it reminded me of coffee candy I used to have when I was a kid. It tastes like regular Coca Cola, meaning it's good, and there is a strong aroma of coffee, but that aroma really didn't translate into a strong coffee taste. I held my nose close to see if without the smell of coffee, it would actually taste like there was some coffee in the drink, and it didn't. After drinking about 3/4 of the bottle, the coffee flavor started coming out more, and the sweetness started getting more intense (too sweet for my taste buds), and there was a slightly bitter edge to the taste.

Although Coca Cola Blak is not marketed or labeled as a diet beverage, there are actually only 45 calories and 12 grams of sugars in the 8 ounce bottle compared to 105 calories and 27 grams of sugar in regular Coke. I only bought one bottle so I could write this review, but would I buy a case of this? Hmmm... I would if I drank regular sodas. It provides an interesting new flavor - a nice change from regular Coke. Also, if you don't like the taste of diet sodas, then getting this soda instead could be a way to cut out some calories, but without getting the diet soda taste.

This definitly looks...interesting. I don't know--diet coke mixed with coffee? Sounds gross to me, I've never seen it...

sounded, well, "different" at first but it is actually pretty good. I'll be drinking it!

It's more like a mix of coke and C2 -- it has sugar (high fructose corn syrup) in addition to the aspartame and acesulfame potassium. When I tried it at first, I didn't realize it had artificial sweeteners in it, and I didn't notice until I read the label, which is significant because I *hate* diet soft-drinks and the artificial sweetener taste. The coffee taste covers it up, I guess. My main gripe is the price. On "sale" at my local grocery store, a case of 4 was 5.99. Ouch!

PLEASE TELL ME WHERE I CAN BUY COKE-BLAK
