This week it is all about Ice cream, after all
July is National Ice cream Month. Check out all our
Reviews of Ice cream of the low fat variety of course.
Try a flavor you haven't tried before.
Although Coca Cola Blak is not marketed or labeled as a diet beverage, there are actually only 45 calories and 12 grams of sugars in the 8 ounce bottle compared to 105 calories and 27 grams of sugar in regular Coke. I only bought one bottle so I could write this review, but would I buy a case of this? Hmmm... I would if I drank regular sodas. It provides an interesting new flavor - a nice change from regular Coke. Also, if you don't like the taste of diet sodas, then getting this soda instead could be a way to cut out some calories, but without getting the diet soda taste. Taste:

Robyn said: It's more like a mix of coke and C2 -- it has sugar (high fructose corn syrup) in addition to the aspartame and acesulfame potassium. When I tried it at first, I didn't realize it had artificial sweeteners in it, and I didn't notice until I read the label, which is significant because I *hate* diet soft-drinks and the artificial sweetener taste. The coffee taste covers it up, I guess. My main gripe is the price. On "sale" at my local grocery store, a case of 4 was 5.99. Ouch! |
