Splashed across the front of the packaging is the fact that Teenee Beanee Jelly Beans ia "A Fat Free Candy." My first thought was - am I reading this right? Did they really advertise the fact that jelly beans are a "fat free" candy?! Yes - they are fat free - but they are 99% sugar, and the other 1% is just flavoring.
This is one type of candy that I don't want my kids to know even exists (if or when I have any). One serving is 36 pieces, 150 calories and 23 grams of sugar -oh, and no fat. I'm not picking on just Teenee Beanee Jelly Beans only, it's all jelly beans - but that just happened to be the brand that I came across.

I like Starburst Jellybeans! I don't like regular- but I am addicted to the Starburst kind, which is probably just as bad nutritionally!
