Taco Bell Fiesta Taco Salad
When I think of having a "salad" I usually assume that it's going to be healthy for me, and not getting too many calories. Now, this is being distorted by restaurants and fast food businesses, and a very good example is the Taco Bell Fiesta Taco Salad. This does not look like your typical 'salad' and the nutrition content is not that of your typical salad either.
Chow down on this, and you'll be getting 860 calories, about 70% of the daily recommendation for fat from 46 grams of total fat and 14 grams of saturated fat, as well as 75 percent of a day's sodium. If you are running around and and feel like grabbing a salad at a fast food restaurant, please skip this one.

Late comment but, taco salad is a dish totally separate from a regular salad. It's been around for a long time. I don't agree that Taco Bell is distorting the image of a salad because their menu calls it a "Fiesta Taco Salad". If you want a salad, you should pick a salad, not a taco salad. Anyway, thanks for the review, I love your site.
Think TacoBell's taco salad is greatest. Can't find recipe with refried beans at base.
Agree w/Meki'scomment want salad don't pick TACO salad.
Wow! 800 calories for a salad is out of control. I still dont understand why you need to take a healthy salad and layer is with 800 calories. Surely they would be able to make a salad that tasted good, was healthy and marketable. If i were to use up 800 cals of my dailey calorie intake i would probably opt for something else on the Taco Bill menu.
