I got one of these for a buck at a Pepperidge Farm outlet if you bought more stuff. I cooked it up for dinner one night for me & my son, as it is easily large enough for two.

It tasted HORRIBLE. Awful. We ended up throwing it out. It has a nasty mouth feel and an aftertaste that's even worse. Even if it wasn't unhealty, it is just plain BAD.

This is ridiculous! Look at the front--they are advertising it as if it's healthy, the vegetables piling out on a golden crust with "roasted chicken". Pffft. I would never eat this...nutritionally, it is ridiculous!

I just finished my first and last pepperidge farm chicken pot pie. I only wish I had seen these comments before trying this product. It was expensive(even at walmart) and probably the worst (quick food) I have ever placed in my mouth. When the crust is cooked the remainder of the contents were still frozen....following their instruction. When the inside was cooked, the crust was burnt. This pie was mostly crust and the insides were dry. This product should be banned from the market. I have never been dissapointed in the cheaper frozen pot pies, but this one is a loser.

I have had the turkey version of this pot pie more than once. It was the best pot pie I have ever had. My microwave handled the cooking instructions perfectly and gave fully cooked interior with golden outer crust. I would be leary of anything selling for a buck. That particular pie might have been beyond expiration date, but that was the store's fault.

Who cares about it being fattening? It's a pot pie you dolt, it's not supposed to be good for you. That's the idea. As for the calorie counting, just eat half of it...there, problem solved.

I rather liked this one, it's much better than other brands I've tried. If you have a proper microwave (at least 1000 watts) and can follow directions properly, it cooks up great.
