Nestle Nesquik Strawberry Syrup

Nesquik Syrup According to the label of Nesquik Strawberry Syrup, it is fortified with calcium to help build strong bones. Seriously, if you have to get calcium from a syrup - something is wrong with your eating habits. What is not splashed across the front of this label is that 2 tablespoons of this stuff will give you 116 calories, mainly from 27 grams of sugar! Diet Trash As for the calcium - you get 10%. Oh and don't forget this is artificially flavored - so you won't find strawberries listed in the ingredients.

Kindly advise if the Nesquik Strawberry flavour is Artificial, is it harmful for the kids to have on a daily basis as my child is 3 yrs old and loves the NESQUIK Strawberry flavour only.

Hey Rose, I didn't mean to imply that Nesquik is harmful to kids or anyone and I seriously doubt that it is. The reason I consider it diettrash is mainly to suggest that adults who are dieting should be aware of the high amount of sugar and calories in a small serving size. It is basically strawberry flavored liquid sugar in my opinion. The advice part I will have to leave to the pros.

I'm with you. It would be very concerning if your main source of calcium was via syrup. It is loaded with sugar!
