Ball Park Franks
Who doesn't love a nice plump, juicy hot dog at the baseball game or at a cookout?! And let's face it, if you're at a barbecue, you're not going to eat just one! And aren't "Ball Park Franks" one of the best tasting hot dog franks out there?! Well, at 180 calories each, 150 of which are from fat - this has to go on my diettrash list!
There are 16 grams of fat in each frank, which is 25% of what you should eat daily, 6 grams of which are saturated fat - that's 30% of what sould be your daily total amount. You can also get 25% of what should be your sodium limit and throw in 13% of your daily cholesterol too! And you haven't even added the hot dog bun yet! That's another 120 calories [or more]! For a healthier alternative, I like Morningstar Farms Veggie Dogs [read the review].

I almost bought those dogs today, I love them. I know when the time comes I will forget that important piece of information. Thanks though. Bless you.
Ball Park also makes fat free hot dogs which are what we buy. They are pretty tasty although not as tasty as the fat laden ones. We will not eat fatty meats so the fat free version are the only way we'll go. Thought you might want to know Ball Park does make the fat free variety.
They also make 100% turkey dogs, which are only 45 calories, very little fat and we think they taste great. We sub turkey for lots of stuff, like tacos, chili, and meatloaf -- we get to eat yummy stuff without the red meat.
the fat free ones are great! especially for being fat free. I highly recommend everyone try them. maybe if more people buy the they will lower the price, which is my only complaint. $4.99 is a lot to pay for ANY hot dogs, but it seems that healthy stuff is usually more expensive.
