AquaDrops Sugar Free Mints
According to the FDA if a food serving size has less than 5 calories, then it can be labeled as having 0 calories. I tried the melon flavor AquaDrops. The taste was not very minty, but more like that of a sweet, hard candy. There was a pleasant after-taste which was kinda tingly and minty - but it wasn't very intense. AquaDrops are sugar free, thanks to a combination of isomalt, which is a sugar alcohol, sucralose (brand name: Splenda) and Acesulfame K. Even though the nutrition label says there are 0 calories per serving, there are actually 4 calories each. If you are counting calories - remember this, especially if you eat like 5 or 6 a day! I was actually wondering the other day about companies putting the word "New" on their packaging. Aquadrops have been around since 2004, and here it is, 2006, and it still says New! Could the local gas station have had these mints for over 2 years? Maybe, since according to the manufacting code the pack of AquaDrops that I bought was produced the 2nd week of 2004! Do you think they have they lost their "hydration properties?" (said sarcastically). AquaDrops cost almost a dollar at the convenience store. I wish I had used that dollar to buy a bottle of water and gotten some real hydration instead. Comments

Hi--I desperately need some Melon AquaDrops. Can you tell me where you bought them? There have been none in my neighborhood for months now.
If you could reply to my email address (jdavidsen@earthlink.net) I'd really appreciate it.
