Stonyfield Farm Light Yogurt Smoothie

Stonyfield Farms Light SmoothieStonyfield Farms is known for providing products which are "all natural." Their mission is "to deliver the healthiest, most delicious and nutritious yogurts on Earth." Seems like they are branching out from yogurts to smoothies. In addition to being natural with no preservatives, it's pretty good nutritionally too. One 10 ounce bottle is 130 calories, which is less than Yoplait Nouriche Light, and it tastes better too. There's no fat, 19 grams of sugars,18 grams of the sugar alcohol erythritol, 3 grams of fiber and 9 grams of protein. Also 2-15% of quite a few vitamins and minerals.

The taste is pretty good too. It's thick, creamy and smooth going down. I had the strawberry flavor, which they made with strawberry juice - not red color and a laboratory made pseudo-strawberry flavor. The fact that they replaced half the sugars with a [low calorie] sugar alcohol really did not reduce the sweetness that much - but there is still plenty of sugar in the bottle compared to other "light beverages."

I still prefer Yopliat Light Smoothie though, which has less calories and about half the amount of sugars, but Stonyfield Farms products are au-natural, so if that's important to you, then this might be the yogurt smoothie for you. Stonyfiled Farms Smoothie was $1.89 (+ tax) at the time of purchase from Kroger.
