V8 V-Fusion

There is a new V8 juice in town. It's a combination of fruit and vegetable juice, or as it says on the bottle "V8 V-Fusion", and I'm loving it. I am a huge fan of V8 Splash Juice Drink but not a big fan of V8 Vegetable Juice, and by combining the two, Campbell's, which make V8 juices, managed to get the best of both worlds.
V-Fusion comes in three flavors--Strawberry Banana, Peach Mango and Tropical Orange. I tried Strawberry Banana, which also has a vegetable juice blend of sweet potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, and beets. On the first sip, you can taste the mixture of fruit and vegetable juice. It's more like fruit juice with "something else" added - I could make out the 'tomato taste' but as you drink more and more, it starts to taste like regular fruit juice - or maybe you just get used to the taste. If you've ever had vegetable juice - and I mean the juice of any vegetable - then you'll know that it's somewhat of an acquired taste. Similarly, with V-Fusion, although it comes pretty close to tasting just like fruit juice, but there is a strong taste from the veggies. Some people may like it, some might not - I personally do, AND it tastes a whole lot better than their vegetable juice.
V-Fusion was also made to be pretty darn nutritious. You get a full serving of fruit and a full serving of vegetables in each 8-ounce glass. One serving is 120 calories and 28 grams of sugar. And before you scream at the amount of sugar in it, I'm not fussing at it since it's coming from good fruits and veggies - there's no added sugar and no artificial sweeteners either - I'm starting to get a bit annoyed with the prevalence of foods and drinks that contain Splenda, aspartame etc ... V8 V-Fusion also has antioxidants with vitamins A (45%), C (100%) and E (10%).
V-Fusion costs $1.79 for a 12-0z bottle and $3.89 for the 46 oz (1.36 Liter), which is a bit pricier than some other juices, but I think it's worth it. I would buy it again, especially since I don't get enough vegetables in my diet, and every extra serving helps. It might be worth a try too if you have a problem getting your kids to eat vegetables. This stuff is excellent and impossible to find.
I should have mentioned that I found it in WalMart. It just got launched, so hopefully it will be available everywhere soon.

I hate V8 juice and most veggies for that matter but V8 Fusion is great for people like me. It surprising has a sweeter taste than I thought and now can be found everywhere!

Eating vegetables make me vomit, so this stuff is a life-saver.
I love these, too bad they are prohibitively priced for my budget. If the major chains ever get with the action* you can be sure I'll be front and center reporting for duty on quality control.
*This presumes "getting with the action" means more than Save 19 cents over the national brand when you buy 4!
I really love this stuff but it's somewhat pricey.
i'm a typical guy who loves to eat meat and carbs, but hates to buy and consume fruits and vegetables. buying this drink is so much cheaper and tastes a lot better.
I buy v8fusion at Martins were I work. It is so good and is so inexpensive.
I am diabetic and I love V8 Fusion. Does anyone know if this is too much sugar or is it o.k. because it's natural sugar?
i buy my v8fusion at the commissary, for those of you who have access to get on base it's a life saver and it's inexpensive,
V8 Fusion tastes great. There is lower sugar choices. Too bad it cost almost as much as juices from specialty companies.
I'm about to try these. I'm diabetic so one serving takes up half of my carb allotment for each meal, but I seriously gag when I try to eat veggies. At least I can chug this if I don't like the taste!
The price doesn't seem too bad since I won't need much else that my family doesn't share. Maybe water.
Hitting in the head in the V-8 Fusion ad is so disturbing. Why in the world did you think that hitting the head would sell juice? Many children will think this is o.k.
I love this stuff! Been buying it since it first came out! I wish it was a little cheaper as well.
My fav. is the Tropical Orange!! :P Good energy boost for me when I'm tired!
I love this stuff. I don't get enough veggies in my diet because what I buy doesn't stay fresh long enough to eat it all. I tend to put it off sometimes until I am hungry for veggies. This stuff is always ready to go, in fridge or in the cupboard
I like V8 Fusion because it has 1 full serving (1/2 cup) of veggies whereas Nestle's Juicy Juice "Harvest Surprise Tropical" which I *used* to drink only has 2/3 of a veggie serving.
However, I recently came across Bolthouse Farms' Vedge Juice... has a much more veggier blend, and you'll even get 10% of the RDA fiber!
On the downside, its a bit pricier than V8Fusion, and I cant find its ORAC score (equivalent servings of vegetables) this drink contains!

This stuff is great! I buy it at Marc's (2/5.00). Don't bother with any of the Berrie flavors. Make sure it is really cold and shake it up real well just before serving. If it sits too long it starts to separate and doesn't look too appetizing.
I feel just like the guy in the v8 v fusion commercial. I just don't like regular v8. But this v fusion is outstanding. Pomegranate blueberry is my fave.
Love V8-Fusion! My grandkids love it too. I found it at Winco Foods at $2.50 and at Wal-Mart for $2.99. My favorite is the Pomegranet/Blueberry.
The pomegranate blueberry is AMAZING!!!!!!! I have a tough time remembering to eat my veggies and fruit, so this stuff is AWESOME. I hope its authentic as far as the "health" aspects of it go.. though.. the taste is too good to be true!
I LOVE the V-7 Fusion Acai berry. It is so DELICIOUS. I have a small glass in the morning and two glasses at night. It is a miracle in relieving my chronic constipation after a week of discovering this great juice. I even make Jack Daniels Cosmopolotins. MM GOOD. Good JOB V-8.

My kids and I were sitting around the breakfast table watching GMA, the fusion ad comes on, and my son whacks his sister on the head with a spoon in mimicry. Please advise me where to find the nutritional info for V 9 fusion juice; i.e. calories, fat, fiber, etc.

I won't buy this crap because apparently the people who make it think it is OK for a woman to hit a man in order to sell junk. Make one where HE hits HER and see what happens!
V8 V Fusion Blueberry/ Pomergranate, great stuff. It seems to relieve my Colitis symptoms.
I love all of the flavors. Can something that tastes this great really be as healthy as they say?

I must say that i think that V Fusion is one of the best things to come down the line. I have been drinking this, plus dite green tea, and also taking fish oil. I have high cholesterol,diabetes,R.A.,high blood pressure, and a heart condition, i have been battleing these and a few other problems for years. a month after i started taking these three items, all of my doctors checked me and said that it must be these items i had started taking, seam to be putting my health problems all in check. I am getting better each day,after seeing my doctors every month for 11 years, they have told me not to come in for at least 8 months. Yea for V Fusion, green tea and fish oil.
P.S. You know what i do is i mix 1/2 V Fusion and 1/2 dite green tea, and it is the best. I like each of them by their selfs, but i also enjoy the mix.
I bought a couple of bottles of V8 Fusion and I really liked it. Then I started looking at the ingredients and it has 35 grams of sugar. Is that natural or added?

Says on the bottle that it's 100% juice and no sugar added.
If this stuff is so healthy how about advertising the glycemic index so Diabetics know for sure how the sugar in it will affect Them.
