Dannon Light n Fit Yogurt

Dannon Light n FitDannon has reformulated their Light n Fit yogurt, to make it just 40 calories in the small 4oz containers (60 calories in the bigger 6 ounce size). Like the folks over at Cheap Eats, I also received yogurt samples from Dannon. There were three flavors: Raspberry, Strawberry Banana and Blueberry. My impression was similar to that of Cheap Eats. I loved the smooth, creamy, texture, but didn't particularly care for the raspberry flavor, due in part to the fact that I like fruit pieces in my yogurt, and this flavor was blended - but that's my personal preference. I also didn't too much care for a slight aftertaste left by the use of Splenda.

You will be able to detect a huge difference in the taste between regular yogurt and Dannon Light n Fit. it's not necessarily in the sweetness, but there is a loss in flavor and the *yum factor.*

Dannon Light n Fit Yogurt provides 40 calories in 4 ounces as mentioned, no fat, 5 grams of protein and 7 grams of sugar. There is also 4-10% of many vitamins and minerals including calcium and vitamin D.

While this definitely won't unseat my current favorite yogurt, Yoplait Light, it's worth trying if you're seriously trying to cut out calories every where you can - and don't mind some loss of flavor along with it.

I like their new light and fit yogurts they taste the same sans the extra cals. I also like their Light n fit with fiber, which further helps my diet.

I noticed the new chemical aftertaste right away, even before I knew Dannon had changed the sweetener. It's very offputting, so much so that I can't even appreciate the 30 fewer calories. The good thing is, it's so gross that people will eat less and lose even more weight. But not me. I'm currently shopping for a new yogurt.

I love the fact that they reduced the calorie load. It tastes exactly the same to me. I hope this revised product sticks around.

i love this stuff! i eat maybe 3 yogurt cups a day !!! i love how its low in calories~ great if you eat 3-4 minimeals a day like me :)

Thanks!

THANKS

I LOVE the Light and Fit Vanilla and Cream yogurt...as a matter of fact, I just finished my third cup tonight! Hey, at only fifty calories each I'm not too concerned. Tastes like dessert!
