Coke: Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke
Coke withdrew Vanilla cherry from shelves in the US at the beginning of 2006, and in it's place came Black Cherry Vanilla Coke, regular and diet version. I really like this new flavor. A word of warning, it is sweeter than most other diet Coke (or Pepsi) sodas. I guess the sweetness is from the 'cherry and vanilla' flavor. I could taste the vanilla flavor, but it's mild - weaker than in the former vanilla coke, but I like the mildness. The cherry flavor is even milder, and not that noticeable in my opinion. You know how people say they don't like diet sodas because they taste different, well the Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke really tastes like regular, sugar-ladened sodas.
Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke uses aspartame and acesulfame-K as the sweeteners, same as with the regular Diet Coke, and of course, has no calories. It's a little too sweet for my taste, but this is a great product to ease the transition to diet sodas if you're a newbie.
If you have a favorite diet soda, please share with the rest of us in the comments.

I just found your site and will blogroll you!..
I haven't seen that on shelves yet but will start looking for it to try it!
I really like this. It does taste like regular soda. Because it's so sweet, I find myself drinking smaller portions...and that's a good thing! I've only seen it in the 2 liter size in Texas. Wish it was in coke machines.
