Ensure High Protein Shake

Ensure is one of the popular choices of dietitians, especially for their older clients and hospital patients, because it contains almost every vitamin and mineral known to man. Okay, so that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but there are a LOT of vitamins and minerals in Ensure High Protein Shake - actually more than you could get from any one multi-vitamin. One 8 ounce bottle of Ensure will give you 230 calories, but like the bottle says, it is a MEAL REPLACEMENT. There are also 6 grams of fat, and 0.5 grams saturated fat, 19 grams of sugar and 12 grams of protein.
Ensure Vanilla Supreme High Protein 'Shake' has a slightly thick consistency, and there's no milk in it, so it's safe for you lactose intolerant folks, but it still has a creamy texture to it - normally associated with milk products. The taste of Ensure is best described as that of a sweet, milky drink. When I took the first sip, I thought, "What the ..." but then I took another sip and it didn't taste as bad as I originally thought, then I took another and I thought, "Okay, not too bad." Then another, and another ... until I had finished the entire bottle. So I think, there is an initial - I wouldn't normally drink this - but then you realize it's not so bad. I would drink Ensure again for sure, maybe not daily, more like every other day, because I 
the fact that I can get some extra nutrition in my diet from this.
