V8 Splash Juice Drink with 33% Less Sugar

This is an open letter to V8 Splash:

Dear makers of V8 Splash:
I absolutely loved the original version, which I reviewed (here) - I believe I said it was "one of my favorite fruit beverages/drinks/juice out there." I see you've now come up with a '33% less sugar' version, and I would like to thank you for the new healthier options. However, I hope to God that you are not planning on totally replacing your original V8 with this '33% less sugar version' because this new and improved version tastes like crap. I understand 'tastes like crap' is not very descriptive terminology, but I hope it conveys how much I dislike this new version - it is just not sweet enough, and it has an 'off' taste. Let me tell you, there is not much difference between 18 and 24 grams of sugar - not when you sacrifice taste. I understand that you are now 70 calories instead of closer to 100 - but again I don't think the trade off is worth it.

I realize that I might be alone in my opinion, and I'm not asking that you discontinue your newer version. Just that you continue to provide us with the regular stuff that some of us love so much. I have given up a lot in my quest to eat healthier and sugar is one of those things that I have cut, so I understand this trend that you seem to be following, but I'm begging you not to force me to give up one of my few remaining pleasures in life.

Thanks for providing us with great products (I know I didn't like your tomato vegetable juice, but I know I'm not alone in that opinion so please don't hold it against me).
