Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup
Chicken noodle soup is one of those things that's easy to prepare, quick, and tasty. There are now what seems like thousands of variations including chicken and dumplings, cream of chicken, chicken and vegetables, and the list goes on and on. Sometimes though, you just want soup with chicken and noodles. I don't know if its true that chicken noodle is good when you have a cold, but it makes me feel better when I have a cold or when I just feel down, or when I just want something hot in my tummy.
Campbell's chicken noodle soup is just what it says, soup with chicken and noodles.
The soup is delicious. It is condensed so you have to add one cup of water to it, microwave for 3 minutes and that's it. If you want it thicker or thinner, add more or less water. There are plent of little chunks of chicken and just the right amount of noodles. But is Campbells chicken noodle soup good for you nutritionally? Well, from 1 can, you get 150 calories, a little less than 4 grams of fat, 1.25 grams of saturated fat, 7.5 grams of protein, but more than 100% of the daily allowance of sodium (more than 2200 grams). So while this chicken soup may be good for your cold, it might not be good if you're watching your sodium intake.
