Murray Sugar Free Vanilla Wafers

Murray's is Keeblers sugar free line of products. They include sugar free cookies, grahams and wafers in many different varieties. I really enjoy their products, especially the wafers which is what we are reviewing. These wafers are absolutely delicious. You don't miss the sugar, which they have replaced with sugar alcohols. But you know the old saying, "if it's too good to be true, it probably is." Sad to say, the only drawback with these sugar free wafers, is that you can't eat too many wafers at once. Let me repeat this, DO NOT EAT A LOT AT ONE TIME! How much depends on your stomach, but let me assure you, that I spent the entire night in the bathroom. I knew it before hand, - it's a well known fact that sugar alcohols cause tummy 'issues' but knowing didn't stop me, and I paid the price! Nevertheless, if you can handle not being greedy, like I was, you will certainly enjoy this sugar free treat.

One serving of Murray Sugar Free Vanilla Wafers is 6 wafers (one block) which has 130 calories, 10 grams of fat (gasp!) and 2 grams of saturated fat. Each serving has 8 grams of sugar alcohol (10 grams requires a warning about stomach issues). This is therefore sugar free, but not the healthiest snack you could choose. It's great for variety, for example if you're looking for something to throw in with your kids lunch meal, or if you're diabetic. Otherwise, I can't see myself eating these on a regular basis.
