V8 Splash Smoothie

v8 smoothie V8 Splash Smoothie is a more recent addition to the V8 Splash line which includes fruit and tomato juices. I tried Peach Mango and Strawberry Banana flavors. While the taste was creamy and fruity, I can't really see how this was a smoothie. The consistency was thicker than regular juice, but it was still way too runny / watery in comparison to more traditional smoothies. V8 Splash smoothie doesn't have any milk in it, so it's good for those people who are lactose intolerant, but it still has a lot of creaminess to it.

**Updated** Since V8 Splash Smoothies were first introduced, they have changed things up a bit. Most noticeable is that the packaging has changed. The bottle was at first much smaller (46 ounces) than the original V8 Splash juices (64 ounces). Now the bottle appears much bigger due to changing the shape and elongating the top, but it still holds the same amount.

smoothie Also nutritionally, at first there wasn't much in it with very little vitamins (much less vitamins than regular V8 juices with only more of the B vitamins, but even then, it's only 10% of the recommended daily value). It also had 25 g of sugar per serving which really doesn't make it a "healthy" or "diet" drink. Now, you get 90 calories per serving along with 18 g of sugar. But the biggest change is that now you can get 70% of the daily allowance of vitamin A, 100% vitamin C, and 10% calcium - which you don't get from V8 juices.

At first it was more expensive than regular V8 juices but it seems that the prices are around the same at $3.00 per bottle, but since you get less in a bottle of V8 Smoothie, it still works out to be more expensive. Overall, I like this product, but if you're looking for something that's more like a smoothie, you might not get it from this.

I like this one. I think V8 is a healthy alternative to other flavored drinks.

I like making low fat pina coladas with the tropical Colada.

I very much enjoy the tropical colada.
However, its cost sent me to Wal-mart for my supply (substantial). Now, they seem never to have it in stock.
I live in Wilmington, Delaware.
My Wal-mart is near Route 2, Kirkwood highway. the phone number is 302 683-9312; Frank Durst is Manager. Can you tell him that at least one good customer is clamoring for the tropical colada which I buy by the case. Please tell him to restock and give him a good deal.

Used to buy V8 Smoothie at Walmart but have not found it in 4 weeks. Did they stop making it. I even tried another store and nothing. My 6 year old loves it. I like he drinks it because he will not eat Meat or Veggies.

I used to buy it at Walmart too but I can't find it either. Where can I find it?

Yes, I always bought the Tropical Colada at WalMart. What happened? I live in Maine, and can't find it anywhere! :(

I buy the Tropical Colada at WalMart here in Cambridge, Ohio. I actually hate bottled juices, but I love this one. I just water it down a bit and drink it over ice and it is really delicious.

I have been buying the strawberry banana flavor for years in LaMarque, Texas, but now I can't seem to find it anymore. I would order it online if I could find it.

Has anyone fiquered out where to buy it because walmart is definetly not carrying it anymore
