Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Bar
The granola bars are crispy, sweet and not the 'so thick it'll break your teeth' variety we sometimes come across. What pleased me even more was the fact that 2 bars come in one pouch! So you have a choice, eat one now and an hour or two later, eat another one. But remember, the bars are a bit on the thin side, so one may not be very filling. The 2 bars together count as one serving, which will give you 180 calories, 6 grams of total fat, 0.5 grams of saturated fat, 11 grams of sugar (6 grams per bar), 2 grams of fiber (8% of the daily value), 4 grams of protein and 10% of the daily reccommended amount of calcium. Not bad at all - if you only eat one bar every few hours. The first ingredient in Nature Valley Granola Bars is whole grain rolled oats and not sugar /high fructose corn syrup which is so commonly seen as the first ingredient these days (It is the 2nd ingredient - but we give them credit for trying). One box with 6 pouches (12 bars) is priced around $3.00, so it is a very cost effective snack. The verdict ... love it! Although I am sure many people - myself included, may eat both bars at once, and then it is so NOT worth the 180 calories. Comments

Shelby said: Yeah, it tastes good. But I looked into it and one of their "nutty" granola bars packet says that ONE bar =160 calories! And almost NO nutritional value. Think about that. Oh, and I may be only ten but I have a COLLEGE math and reading level! Yeah, that's right!
