Fuze Slenderize

I just recently started seeing Fuze beverages on the supermarket shelves. It's brightly colored labels really attract the eye, and when you read the label and see all the vitamins they contain, it was a no-brainer that I would be reviewing it. The price tag is around $2.00 - $2.50 for an 18 oz bottle. I originally tried the Fuze Orange Mango. It was absolutely delicious. It contained 25 - 50% of vitamins A, B, C, and E as well as zinc and it was just so refreshing. However, there are 24 g sugar per 8oz serving, and there is a little more than 2 servings per bottle. Chances are, you'll drink the entire bottle, and I don't want to ingest 50 g of sugar at once.
Since that really isn't along the lines of what we review here, I decided to try the Slenderize line. Those range from 5 - 10 calories per serving. Let me tell you that I was so impressed with the origianl Fuze that I picked up 3 bottles of the Fuze Slenderize beverages, Cranberry Raspberry, Cranberry Apple and Tropical Punch. BIG MISTAKE! And please note the emphasis. I tried one bottle, took about two sips - the second sip was to confirm that it really was that bad. I opened the other two bottle to see if someone was playing a cruel joke or if this was for real. It was! How can a company that makes their regular line taste so good, turn around and not only make - but then sell a crappy low calorie version.
This tasted like flavored water which had gone bad. It had a slight metallic - just off taste. Splenda is not the cure all sweetener for everything. There are other options out there saccharin, acesulfame K, aspartame - or lesser known, naturally derived ones like stevia and tagatose. I was very disapppointed - very hurt! This is definitely thumbs down!

I think these are good when you can get them cheap. They don't taste "off" at all, and for the caloric content the flavor is better than I expected. Plus, my preffered flavor has a HUNDRED PERCENT of your vit. C, and it has Chromium. And that's for one serving.
I have tried almost all of the fuze flavors, execpt a few of the tea ones, and the cranberry ones. (i'm not a big fan of cranberries) My 2 favorites would have a be tropical punch and strawberry guava, and the Tropical Punch is a slenderize. It only has 5 calories per serving (2 servings per bottle). It costed about 1.47 at a convenice store. I THINK THEY TASTE GREAT, plus they are good for you!
I too disagree with your review. I am not a diet drinker and most of the sugar free stuff does NOT taste good. No diet coke tastes like coke. No diet juice will taste as good as one sweetened with sugar. You can buy an assorted case of FUSE (12) for about $10 at SAM's club, which makes it less than a dollar a bottle. I think they are relatively good for what they are trying to be.
I really enjoy drinking fuze. you can look on the bottle and feel at ease that it really healthy.
Do yourself a favor and go pick up the Dragonfruit Lime. It's miles ahead of the other flavors.
I like them too. And I try to avoid artificial sweetener saccharin and aspartame. I always prefer Splenda or Stevia.
Looks like I am in the minority on this one. I am going to give the Fuze Slenderize line another try - tropical punch and draginfruit lime. Thanks for the input!
Recently discovering FUZE, myself, I've been trying the Slenderize flavors. I have a question for you and your readers, though. Has anyone else experienced cramps as a result of drinking them? I dont mean to be gross,but I tried it a couple times during my period, and both times, I experienced menstrual cramps and increased menstrual blood flow. Just to be sure I wasn't crazy, I waited until my period was completely over and tried it again and AGAIN I had more cramps and very minute blood flow. Very strange and I'm wondering if I'm the only person this is happening to. Thanks.
I love them. Recently a local supermarket had them 10 for $1, I bought 20. They are a great substitute for soda or flavored water
I have not experienced any cramping, or negative effects .
i love fuze Slenderize, they taste pretty good, and i swear that they work! i don't base my entire diet regime on drinking them alone, but i really do feel like they do help. i'm a medical student so i'm not easily fooled by health gimmicks, but based on personal experience they are worth the cost!
I have been drinking the Slenderize and I love it. The Tangerine Grapefruit is very tasty. Not experiencing any ill effects.
I have experienced the heavy cramping with Fuze. I still like it a lot but I just drink it a couple days before my period now so that it will come early. It has actually been working but I get heavier blood flow.
I just tried the Fuze Tangerine Grapfruit Slenderize and it has a wonderful taste. I was very pleased with this low carb drink option that is sweetened with apple juice concentrate. I will try the other flavors -- a winner!

The Slenderize Strawberry Melon is very good - my favorite.
I am so surprised at the poor review you gave Fuse slenderize! I guess perhaps after tasting the regular version your expectations were very high... I think if you taste it after tasting diet sodas, and flavored waters, using other low calorie beverages as a comparison, you might think they taste better. I don't care for any other low calorie drink, but I adore fuse ones!

You must try it for yourself. It is expensive to buy off the grocery shelf, but if you can get it at Sams or Costco by the case, it's a great deal.

i don't know what you're talking about, or what you were drinking. personally, i think that the fuze drink are probably one of the best drinks that i have ever come across. they are very good for and taste great. all i drink are diet drinks, and these are by the far the best. they have a very low calorie intake and are just so good.
I just tried the Fuze Slenderize. My store only carries 4 of the flavors...so I tried them all. I, normally, don't like any flavored waters or juices. However, I think the Fuze Slenderize is wonderful!
I started making the people at work "taste test" them also. Everyone thinks they are great!!
I tried the fuze slenderize drink first. They are good and I really am picky about flavored drinks. I tried the regular drinks also they are good but just a little to sweet for my taste but I would drink them again.
okay so maybe you just didnt get the right flavor of slenderize for you i mean i absolutely hate Tangorine but am a big fan of strawberry melon. so dont judge all the flavors.
I can't stand diet sodas and drinks because of the aftertaste so it is so hard for me to cut back calories in drinks, but I tried Fuze Slenderize in the Tropical Punch flavor and LOVE it!! Definitely try them again

When I first tried a fuse, I had the same reaction as the reviewer. I thought - this is flavored water, weak flavored water.
That was a year ago, now they're my favorite drink. When you're accustom to ingesting sugary drinks (pop, oj, aj) the drink seems very weak. However, when I was eating healthy and ingesting almost no artificial sugar - that's when the drink "pops". I had a Fruit Punch yesterday and it seriously tasted "rich".
I have just found the Fuze Slenderize and have only tried the Tropical Punch! Love it, love it. Will look at Sam's for the cheaper price and branch out with other flavors.
i LOVE the Fuze slenderize drinks....the tangerine grapefruit is my favorite. It definitely curbs my appetite so i dont eat as much..there is a little more than two servings...but the tangerine grapefruit only has 10 calories perserving and 1 gram of sugar per serving. aspartame is very bad for you. artificial stuff is bad for you. yous hould always eat and drink natural stuff but just control how much you take in.

The Blueberry Raspberry and the Strawberry melon are amazing! It's all i drink and its good for you too. I love it.

I just started trying them and I love the 2 flav. that I have tried. I tried the green tea one first and was amazed at how good it was compaired to other green tean drinks I have had in the past. Today I tried the Slenderize strawberry melon and it was amazing.
I don't like all the flavors but the Tangerine Grapefruit tastes just like orange juice.. it's amazing

It isn't bad it is just a little sweeter than I am used to. I am a Pepsi drinker and can consume a 6 pack a day. This is the best tasting low carb drink I have run across, so I hope I can nix the Pepsi. Wish me luck. :-)

I really love these drinks they are a good substitute to high in sugar drinks like soda & gadorade! But it is so weird, because i've had really bad stomach cramps all day and been wondering why? But after reading some of the comments above I just now realized that im on my period and had a fuze drink early this morning, but I haven't experienced heavy bleeding. CRAZY I wonder if its bad for us or how many other people have experienced this?

was this a review of the drink overall? or a review on its taste? cuss obviously opinions on taste will differ from person to person. i run a gas station and we carry almost every drink from the fuze line. i have tried them all and think they are a great alternative to water. the slenderize line has 200mg of super citrimax witch has supposedly been scientificaly proven to curve appetite, reduce binge eating, and much more. it even helps with depression. the fruit punch flavor i beleive has only 5 calories and contain no sugar. (correct me if im wrong) you need to look at it as an alternative to water not to juice.. my favortie is the strawberry bannana for its vita b's although 50g of sugar is a little high. so i drink water or the slenderize more often. i realy think your review does not do justice to the drink and everyone should go out and try it and give your own opinion.
I will admit that when I read the comments the first time and someone said they experienced bleeding I laughed... not because they were experiencing a problem but because they thought the drink was causing it. I completely take it back!! After drinking the Slenderize drinks and water for about 2 days (I would have 2-3 Fuze drinks a day) I noticed very minimal spotting! I have never, ever been irregular before or have spotted and my period is like clockwork. There is some slight cramping but nothing that would usually make me concerned. It started Sat morning and today it is still occurring. I had been drinking Fuze Thurs and Friday. If this has happened to anyone else please let us know. I'm kinda bummed because I Love these drinks and thought they were a great alternative to water.
I have had similar problems!!!! I didn't think it was the drink.. I was on a beach vacation.. and the entire time i was spotting.. now that i think more on it.. YES i had just started drinkin fuze on the vacation!!I have never been irregular either.. BUT I DO say that they taste great.. and I love all the Sams Club pack flavors and that it has stopped food craving.. and i've lost 8 pounds since i started drinkin them.. (I'm only 5' 2" and 120 pounds now.. so.. yippi)
I drink 4 a day and have had issues with the flavor..i think theyre wonderful..just sometimes expensive.
I am surprised and yet not surprised at the same time at the positive feedback this drink is getting. That is the power of good marketing.
Why I am surprised is that the artificial sweeteners don't seem to bother people. These are very controversial and linked to cancers.
It is amazing how people's definition of what "health" is varies out there. Perhaps healthy for the average person, this drink does not deserve the label of "natural health"

Evita you have more of a all natural/holistic approach to health and nutrition so of course you would hate anything artificial.
The science linking carcinogenic effects and artificial sweeteners is fairly suspect, but if you've any studies you would like to show to prove your point instead of advertising your site that would be appreciated.
One final thing. I'm surprised, and yet not surprised to see someone buying into the holistic nonsense... I guess marketing wins again.

Fuze is fantastic. I can't believe a Phd would refer anyone to use aspertame as a sweetner. FYI, Albertson's grocery store has them on sale 10 for $10 right now! I'm on my way to load up!!
I am completely addicted to Fuze. I drink one or two a day, usually any flavor of Slenderize. They taste great, have vitamins and nutrients shown to curve your appetite, and are relatively inexpensive. Sometimes I see them for about two dollars but at Wal-Mart they are always a dollar each. My favorite flavor would be the Pomegranate Acai Berry. (Yum.)
well my friends in this business i buy this product for the wife and she likes all of your reg. ones not slender ones...i will not buy it.... as i have type 2 diabetic and 50g is alot for me so no chances to drink it as,,,we keep are sugar low...even if it is natural also....GEO....

Have any of you tried the FUZE Black & Green Tea Flavor? I'm barely trying it right now and it tastes like a diet pill, lol..but i'm still drinking it cause I paid for it! Has anybody lost weight with these? I barely bought them today, I also bought the slenderize blueberry rasberry.

Oh my stars! You are one crazy lady! The Fuze Slenderize drinks are AMAZING! They are sooooo good and healthy..it can't get any better than that! Something is wrong with your tastebuds and you obviously are not a doctor in determining which drinks are delicious!
