Honey Bunches of Oats Low Fat Cereal Bars
I loved Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, so I thought I would try the cereal bar. I am not a big fan of cereal bars for some reason. I just didn't think that they were adequate for breakfast, and would keep me full until snack time 2 to 3 hours later. But, believe it or not, it actually kept me full for a few hours - why didn't anybody tell me? I tried the Banana Nut flavor Honey Bunches of Oats cereal bar, and it was very good. The banana flavor was subtle and not overpowering at all. The nuts were walnuts and the taste blended with the bar very well, almost too well I would say. It doesn't stand out at all and I actually had to go back and try another bar in order to see if I had actually tasted nuts previously, and I had eaten about 3 of them over the last 2 days.
Each 35 gram Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal Bar has 130 calories, 3 grams of total fat, no saturated or trans fat 2 grams of protein and 25 grams of carbohydrates which includes 8 grams of sugar and 1 gram of dietary fiber. You also get 10 - 25% of various vitamins and minerals. The front of the box states that there is as much calcium in this bar as in an 8 oz glass of milk.
One box comes with 6 bars priced at $2.66. Overall, Honey Bunches of Oats Banana Nut cereal bar is a great tasting low calorie bar that can be eaten as breakfast or a snack throughout the day.

I found the banana flavor to be too over powering.
i tried the banana cereal bars, and they are delicious. but, now I cant find them. Any ideas?
Just tried the Strawberry version. incredible! sort of like a bigger Special K bar..it was sweet..but i still loved it
