Boca Meatless Spicy Chik'n Patties
I was on the hunt for something quick to prepare, but not another frozen dinner! That's when I spotted Boca Meatless Chick'n Patties. Boca chicken patties have breading on the outside, and this breading actually stayed put, i.e. did not get soggy after I microwaved the hell out of this patty. The breading stays crispy even after you overcook it a little in the microwave. This 'meatless' chicken patty was not moist enough for me, but it wasn't really too dry either. Because of the breading, it was really hard to detect a difference between this and real chicken. Pay attention to the part of the label that says 'spicy.' It does have a little kick to it, but not too much. I am not big on very spicy food so take it from me if you are not also, the spiciness of this patty is at a very tolerable level.
Each Boca Meatless Spicy Chik'n Patty is a serving, which provides 160 calories, 6 g fat, 1 g saturated fat, 560 mg sodium, 11 g protein, 2 g dietary fiber and throw in 10% of your daily iron requirement. Not bad! This product cost $2.58 for a pack of 4. Overall I would say this is a good product, but nothing really stands out about the taste.
**Side note** I get a lot of email asking me where do I find these cheaply priced Boca Products. I shop in Auburn, Alabama where the gas prices are high but the food prices are cheap! Boca on sale around here is $2.50 - when not on sale it's around $3.50.

I have to say that this is one of the coolest websites I've come across. Great idea. :)

Dude, what you need to do with these is :
- nuke it for 30-45 seconds in the microwave and then pop them in a skillet with no calorie cooking spray. seriously cooks up amazing. then put it on an english muffin with ketchup, mayo (might i suggest the vegan mayo? tastes the same and is seriously alot better for you) a slice of cheese (i'd suggest the vegan kind again, but that's always hit or miss with the non vegans) and lettuce and you're good to go on a wannabe fast food sandwhich. it's soooo good. whether you do it vegan or not, it tastes pretty much the same but you definitely save on calories and fat.
