Blue Bunnny Carb Freedom Yogurt Smoothie
I didn't remember that I had previously reviewed an Atkins brand smoothie but as soon as I tasted this, the term "Milk of Magnesia" ran through my mind, and I remember having written that term before. This is not as bad as the Atkins smoothie, in fact, I drank about half the bottle and it only took me one week. I'm not sure if people still drink MOM thesed days, but I have nightmares about my parents forcing me to drink this awful tasting mess.
Since the carb freedom drink tastes so horrible, you might think that at least nutritionally, it is excellent. Well sort of. The good thing is there is 13 g of protein, 60% vitamin D (although I can just go stand in the sun for a few minutes and get that, I do applaud them for the effort), only 5 g of sugar and 6 g of fat. The bad news is that in a 10 oz serving, there are still 140 calories (about the same as a glass of orange juice) and 3.5 g of saturated fat.
Maybe one day somebody will atually come up with a good tasting low carb beverage - maybe. Until then, avoid this and go get some water.
