Quaker Apple Cinnamon Rice Snacks
At first bite, Quaker Rice Snacks has a trace of Quaker Oatmeal taste. I eventually got past that - it didn't take more than 2 bites - and found myslef really enjoying the unique taste of the Apple Cinnamon flavor. It's not easy to ban potato chips from the diet, especially not for a snack-a-holic like myself, but I could see myself buying this again. It's especially good if you want something that's sweet. There was a strong, pleasant hint of cinnamon.
There are only 60 calories per serving of 8 pieces, no fat, a low 50 mg of sodium, 1 gram of protein and only 4 grams of sugars, which was surprising since it had such a sweet taste. The Food Scientist in me wondered what was actually in this, so on closer inspection of the ingredients, I found that this product has the artificial sweeteners acesulfame K and sucralose, also known as Splenda.
Finally a healthy snack, that doesn't taste bad. The price isn't bad either at a little over $1.00 for a 3.5 oz bag.

My husband calls them coasters, but I love them. It's a nice snack that I can share with my toddler. Great for the munchies.
