Cheerios MultiGrain Cereal
The taste is not the best thing about this cereal. While not exactly 'spit it out bad', it was more like the, "Where is the taste? Oh well, at least it's good for you" kind of cereal. It is not the worst cereal I've tasted. In fact, the way I determine if a cereal is incredibly bad is by comparing it to Raisin Bran. Now that's one nasty tasting cereal. How people eat that is beyond me. But that's not what we're reviewing here, so onward.
Nutritionally, this cereal better be good, because that's all they talk about on the front of the box and because it has no taste. We find that it does offer at least 25% of your daily requirement in lots of vitamins and minerals. In fact, you get 50% of folic acid, and 45% iron. Also you get 3 g of dietary fiber - which is 11% of the recommended dietary allowance, low sugar, 3g protein and only 110 calories from 1 cup of cereal (150 calories with 1/2 cup of skim milk added). So nutritionally, this cereal is pretty good. In terms of price, it's not bad at about $2.50 for 11.25 oz, but will I be buying this cereal again? I think not, not unless it only cost ... well, actually never mind - it's just a no. Wait, that's not fair and I don't want to be too negative. If price wasn't a factor and I needed to lose weight and eat healthier, then yes, I would buy this cereal.

I LOVE Multigrain Cheerios. Although I totally agree about Raisin Bran being the worst tasting cereal ever - I can't say I follow you on MultiGrain Cheerios. They are slightly sweet, filling and I could eat them 3 meals a day!
..Huh? These Cheerios taste great! I agree with Bridget: you are misguided.
Please leave out the sugar! They would be good if I could add my own!
Cheerios creal one of the best. Most amazing combination we like about cheerios, it has less sugar.

Raisins just don't make for a good breakfast cereal, end of story, but multigrain of anything is usually good. Although multigrain cheerios aren't as flavorable as most other multigrain products (like wheat thins) their slight sweetness is a nice bonus especially when trying to lose weight. And it's just enough where it doesn't defeat the purpose of the multigrain (although an artificial sweetener may have made more sense)
Overall its a pretty good cereal with plenty of benefits, the article pretty much says it all though I think it tastes a bit better than you gave it off.
I agree. Multigrain Cheerios taste just OK, but I eat them because they are a nutritious low-cal cereal. Wow, such hate for Raisin Bran though. Ha ha! I guess I'm the only person here who actually loves Raisin Bran! :)
I love Raisan Bran too Eileen so your not alone, and the only thing thats all that nutritious about multgrain cheerios is the fact that it's low calorie nothing all that special about it other than that.
MM! I love them (dont like regular cherrios...not engouh sweetness!). They are nutritious and pretty tasty if you ask me! Not the most filling though
This is hands-down my favorite cereal, so I was suprised to see it receive such a poor rating. I'm the type to add tons of sugar to things (coffee, for example) and this is one of the few slightly sweet foods that I actually like. Make that LOVE.
